I really wish this would work for me. I load up the editor and BOOM. It's like a lag-fest. I don't even know why- it's not like I have a rubbish machine.. it's quite decent.

I guess it depends on what you mean as a lag-fest

I tried the Bioshock demo to see if my PC can handle UE3

Unless I can drag up some money in the near future to buy a source game and as such get SDK (Note, not likely to ever happen), we can't switch :/

*Sigh* Maybe this game we're designing wont end up so demanding and such. I dont know. I'm trying to find an Indie game made with UE3 which is less demanding to see if it will run.

Yeah, you have to bear in mind this doesn't have all the water effects BioShock probably does.
If we can find a way to reduce graphics, we'll implement that, as it's not the best on my laptop either.

I DL'ed UDK. Installed flawlessly. When I ran it, it loaded up a few menu's (or should I say menu borders) and then crashed. Just like Bioshock. :l .....................
